Good luck with everything! And thank you again for being Amelia's samaritan angel. I'll never forget struggling in the taxi with the peg perego infant seat with the italian instructions and a brand new 4 day old baby girl in a late October frost. And up walks the car seat lady to save the day. Can we say truly miraculous. I learned how we are SO blessed that day.
Was that the day her little nickname Angel Baby began? I think so.
I've attached a few pictures just so you know she made it home safe and sound. 8 mos. later, little Amelia has a bigger car seat, but this time with English instructions and a much simpler installation.
Thanks,
Amelia's mom Fran

Hi Everyone,

As many of you know, I recently graduated from medical school and moved to Philadelphia where I am doing my pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

While I am very excited about beginning my career as a pediatrician, it is with sadness that I must inform you that I'm no longer going to be performing car seat installations in New York. I'm passing on the reins to New York's new Car Seat Lady and my best friend since childhood, Emily Levine.

Emily trained with me for nearly a year, devoting her weekends to a hands-on apprenticeship under my close supervision. She is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and is also responsible for the complete redesign of our website, thecarseatlady.com. Emily has spent hundreds of hours installing car seats and I have the utmost confidence in her passion and ability. You can contact Emily at emily@thecarseatlady.com.

CHOP, in addition to being a world-renowned children's hospital, is also a center of excellence for injury prevention research ( chop.edu/carseat). I will continue to be "the car seat lady" but in a different, more research-oriented, capacity at CHOP. I'll also remain a consultant to Emily and to all of you who have questions related to car seats. You all know how much I have enjoyed watching your kids grow and helping you keep them safe. Thank you so much for trusting in me and allowing me this awesome and gratifying opportunity.

Sincerely,

Alisa
