The teapots made it home.

Space is always an issue in New York so I was holding my favorites at my mother's where I new they'd be safe, but I finally brought them home. One didn't make it and is now a planter in her garden growing basil. That's okay, though. There have been many to come and go, but right now, these are the ones that have my love. And the bowl in front, I painted it over the summer at a pottery place called Sweet Honey in the city of Stone Mountain. I spent a lot of time there over the summer. It's freezing right now so it's nice to think about summer, basil and teatime. Just getting used to the weather again. My toes are cold. Off to bed with me.

I occasionally used the blue and white teapot for my nightly teatime, so I miss it a little. However,I am happy to see them (and many other items)leave my house for New York in my quest for minimalism in my empty nest.

  2. :-) My mommy made a comment! Yay!! And I agree with minimalism for you, it's a long time coming, and I know our (bro and I) clutter was a part of it. It's GONE now! lol
