Health Update

 Today, I swam laps in the pool. Yesterday, it was the sea. It was fantastic. I also am still meeting with my doctors and nutritionist via Zoom so I am still on top of my weight loss. I finally reached a goal set in February so I am now working towards the next personal goal. I also walk around the neighborhood for exercise. I went over the things I’m eating with my nutritionist/trainer and she said I was on the right track. Lots of fruits, veggies, protein and complex carbohydrates. I have cut back sugar tremendously with substitutes like Stevia and Splenda. If you ever need a coach, I suggest Cassie. She has been an excellent guide this last year. She dispels myths and gives you the science behind healthy eating and exercise. 

I’m here in Aruba a few more weeks so I plan to stay on track. Weight isn’t falling off me like before, but it’s still happening. Also, one of the most helpful apps with a good Facebook group is Baritastic, for those on the bariatric surgery journey.
